1. Forklift Operator
MLI GROUP is looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent attention to detail for the position of forklift operator. Forklift operators are responsible for optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency and managing inventory, among other duties. Forklift operators will need to transport heavy items, requiring diligence and good hand-eye coordination.
Responsibilities for Forklift Operator
- Responsible for checking all inbound and outbound products
- Report any damaged or food scraps present
- Inspects incoming pallets to determine which are meeting criteria; USA pallets and which are CDN pallets, which are reusable, and which need repair
- Supply the pallets to the different stations and place them in the storage
- Load, unload, move, stock and stage products and materials using a forklift
- Prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of products is loaded
- Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Ensure proper safety regulations are followed
Forklift Operator Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid fork-lifting certificate/ Certified to operate heavy machinery
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to follow proper safety procedures and maintain a safe working area
Job Types: Full-time
Day Hours: Monday – Friday (Off: Saturday & Sunday)
7:00 am – 2:00 pm
2:00 pm- 4:30 pm
Salary: From $19.00 per hour
Wage will commensurate based on experience with potential to increase.
2. Wood Pallet Repairer
MLI Group is looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent attention to detail for the position of wood pallet repairer. These positions involve the repairing and inspecting of pallets. Require the ability to do repetitive work, as well as comprehensive knowledge of general construction type repair methods, the proper utilization and care of power tools, materials, and industrial machinery.
Responsibilities for Repairer
- Using tools to repair pallets
- Distinguish good pallets from the ones that are damaged beyond repair
- Responsible to ensure the quality of pallets
- Keeps a clean work environment
- Ensure proper safety regulations are followed
- Fast-paced, attention to detail, commitment to quality
- Meet production goals
- Using standard hand tools equipment and some hydraulics for pallet repairing, inspecting preparing for shipments
Repairer Requirements
- 0 to 1 years’ general warehouse experience, carpentry, landscaping, or construction.
- Willing to work in a labor-intensive environment
- Constant standing, bending, stooping, walking
- Be able to lift a pallet weighing 50-75 lbs pounds continuously
- Must be able to use power hand Saw & hand tools
- Must be able to use a nail gun
- Experience with power tools and machinery an asset but not required
- Able to work independently

3. Pallet Washer
MLI Group is looking for candidates for the position of wooden pallet washer. This position involves the processing of pallets. It ensures that all pallets leaving the wash area are in acceptable condition and meet customer specifications. They require the ability to perform repetitive work.
Responsibilities for pallet Washer
- Clean Pallets
- Perform pallet processing according to work instructions
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Clean and maintain pallet washer
- Inspect and remove bad pallets from rotation
- Effectively communicating relevant information to fellow employees on the shift and to on-coming employees at shift change
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Washer Requirements
- Ability to stand & walk warehouse majority of shift
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work effectively with a team
- Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

4. Millwright
MLI GROUP is looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent attention to detail for the position of millwright. The millwrights are responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, adjusting, and repairing equipment while following safety rules and regulations. You will be required to maintain all equipment to required standards and be responsive to production needs and equipment failures.
Responsibilities for a Millwright
- Inspect, repair, clean and maintain industrial machinery and equipment
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics drawing to determine work procedures
- Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to plans, using hand and power tools
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, such as cranes, to position machinery and parts during the installation, assembly, and repair of machinery
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment
- Ensure safety devices are functioning properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installations
- Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
- Perform other related duties as assigned requirements
Millwright Requirements
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills allowing one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment
- Experience using PLC’s is an asset
- Experience of MiG and Stick welding
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
